Bolton Council operate seven cemeteries. All of them are open for new burials and have smaller plots available solely for cremated remains. Overdale Crematorium contains the cemetery offices and is contactable on 01204 334499 and overdale@bolton.gov.uk

Permitted Sizes
Bolton Council’s cemeteries are not restricted to just lawn type memorials, but there are variaitons between them. Please contact them directly on 01204 334499 for further information.
Foundations
Memorials must be built on concrete bases that are supplied by Bolton Council.
Kerb Sets
Kerbsets are allowed but regulations concerning them vary between cemeteries, please contact the ccouncil on 01204 334499 for further information.
Additional Notes
Bolton’s cemeteries are open 9am-8pm April to September and 9am-4pm October to March.
